Kobi Shaw comes from a varied background of both musical theatre and circus, having appeared on stage at regional theatres, dinner theatres, summer stock, cruise ships, film, t.v and more. She has also worked in classrooms as a "teaching artist" using circus arts to help teach elementary curriculum alongside certified teachers. Many of the lessons Kobi created as a teaching artist have formed the basis of The Circus Science Spectacular.
Steve Russell and Kobi Shaw are both graduates of Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Clown College. They have been performing together since 1996 as the comedy juggling duo In Capable Hands, performing on cruise ships, at state fairs and corporate events as well as at schools and libraries. They have appeared on the Tonight Show, Ellen, Live with Regis and Kelly and at Carolines on Broadway.
